DKR VIP Refund Policy
Effective Date: March 16, 2026At DKR VIP, we provide a personalized matrimonial service with a dedicated consultant who works closely with each client to understand their preferences, refine their requirements, and curate suitable matrimonial profiles.
Because this is a personalized service involving consultant time, profile review, shortlisting, and coordination work, refunds are handled according to the service stage reached at the time of cancellation.
1. Nature of the Service
DKR VIP is a curated matrimonial service. It is not a standard product purchase. By subscribing to DKR VIP service, the client acknowledges that the fee covers professional time, consultation, profile assessment, shortlisting, coordination, and personalized support.
DKR VIP does not guarantee:
- marriage,
- engagement,
- family approval,
- profile acceptance,
- response from any profile,
- or success within any specific period of time.
Our obligation is to provide the service process and deliverables described to the client at the time of onboarding.
2. 24-Hour Cooling-Off Refund
A client may request cancellation within 24 hours of payment and receive a refund minus actual non-recoverable payment gateway and bank charges, provided that:
- no Initial Consultation has taken place, and
- no consultant has been assigned and started profile refinement, manual search, screening, or shortlisting work for the client.
If both conditions above are met, DKR VIP will process the refund after deducting only actual non-recoverable third-party payment/banking charges.
3. Refund After Initial Consultation
Once the Initial Consultation has been completed and the client’s requirements have been discussed, refined, and recorded for service delivery, the service is treated as initiated.
If a client cancels after the Initial Consultation but before any curated shortlisted profile has been shared, the refund will be:
- 50% refundable
- 50% retained by DKR VIP
This retained amount covers consultant time, onboarding effort, profile planning, and service setup costs already incurred.
4. Refund After First Curated Shortlist Is Shared
Once DKR VIP has shared the first curated shortlist of profiles based on the client’s stated criteria, the refund will be:
- 25% refundable
- 75% retained by DKR VIP
At this stage, substantial personalized work has already been performed, including profile review, shortlisting, consultant involvement, discussing client’s proposal with different families.
5. No Convenience Refund After 25% of the Service
Once DKR VIP has started any of the following:
- facilitated 25% of service,
- family coordination,
- direct match communication support or virtual meetup,
- or physical meetup with shared profile(s),
the service fee becomes non-refundable for convenience cancellation. At this point, the service is considered substantially performed.
6. If the Client Claims the Shortlist Does Not Match the Agreed Criteria
If a client believes that the first shortlist materially does not match the criteria shared with DKR VIP, the client must notify DKR VIP within 3 days of shortlist delivery. In such cases, DKR VIP may, at its discretion, offer one reasonable correction or replacement cycle before deciding any refund question.
7. Cases Where Refund May Be Refused or Limited
Refund may be refused or limited where:
- the client provided inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information,
- the client changed their requirements after the service had already started,
- the client became unresponsive during the service process,
- the client declined profiles for personal reasons unrelated to the service description,
- or the client’s dissatisfaction is based on the outcome of matrimonial discussions rather than the actual service performed by DKR VIP.
8. Deductions
Any deduction made during the refund process will be limited to: actual non-recoverable payment gateway charges, actual bank charges, and any non-recoverable third-party charges, where applicable. DKR VIP does not apply arbitrary penalty deductions.
9. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, the client must contact DKR VIP through the official support channel and provide your full name, registered phone number, payment details, date of payment, and reason for refund request.

10. Refund Review Timeline
DKR VIP will review refund requests within a reasonable time and may contact the client for clarification or supporting information. If approved, the refund will be processed through the original payment method or another suitable method determined by DKR VIP. Processing time may vary depending on the bank, payment gateway, and payment method.
11. Right to Reperform or Resolve Service Issues
If a client raises a genuine complaint about service quality, a mismatch with stated criteria, or consultant performance, DKR VIP may first attempt to reasonably resolve the issue through clarification, correction, re-performance, or replacement of the consultant before determining the final refund position.
12. Legal Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or limit any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.
13. Policy Acceptance
By making payment for DKR VIP, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted this Refund Policy.
